Mr Di Giannantonio points out that the office he works in, Pescara, is not the most important in number of stations managed and personnel, but is a pilot one in matter of equipment and research.
The data are recorded on classical mechanic equipment. The observers collect the data and send their observations twice a month to the regional office. Whenever there is an automatic equipment, they prefer keeping the classical equipment that is a way to check if the automatic device runs properly.
