The water resources of the Mediterranean countries are 600 km3 including 81 km3 coming from the upstream countries.
The consumption related to the uses makes up 90 km3.
The river discharges flowing to the Mediterranean make up 473.5 km3 : 430 km3 of surface water, 43.5 km3 of underground water.
Evaporation from surface water make up around 46.5 km3 ; the thrird is related to the evaporation from water dams.
