ENCODER FLOAT LEVEL RECORDER
GENERAL

An encoder allows the modernisation of former float water level recorders for the digitalization of the measured values in situ.

The encoder is generally coupled to the pulley of the recorder, and the measured analog values are converted in digital recording.

The signal output can be as BCD, BINARY or GRAY code.

Data recording can be done simultaneously on digital way and on a conventional paper chart.

MEASUREMENT SPECIFICATIONS

The encoder are used for driving the same cable as well as the same float of the recorder. The measuring range is generally at least of 100 m, the resolution of 0.01% for a 10 m range.

MEASUREMENT SPECIFICATIONS

The conditions of use are the same as for the conventional water level recorders.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Measuring range : 0 to 100 m
Accuracy/resolution : measured value in cm
Adequate friction clutch
Specify desired direction (sense of rotation : left-hand rising or right-hand rising facing the display)
Power supply :  battery
