What is pressure ? (From Keller Company)

GENERAL

Designed for the atmospheric pressure measurement. Direct readings without correction.

Principle : elastic bending amplifying of the barometric sensor relating to the atmospheric pressure variations.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Thermical correction by a bi-metallic element between -10°C and 50°C.
Atmospheric pressure range : 900 hPa to 1050 hPa
Accuracy : ? 1hPa.
 


Mercury Barometer

GENERAL

Design for the atmospheric pressure measurement. This type of barometer should be installed inside a building.

Principle : equilibrium of forces pressure exercise above a mercury free surface by the atmospheric air column and by the mercury column of the barometer.
 

MEASUREMENT SPECIFICATIONS

The barometer must be located in a very low or slow temperature variations room. The barometer place has to be protected against direct solar radiation, radiation due to system heating and draught vibrations.

Measurement range : 790 to 1070 hPa
